The Eldon Street HSHAZ project is ending, and we want to celebrate the achievements and the legacy of the project with the people of Barnsley and beyond with a day of exciting activities.
What can you expect on the celebration day?
To mark the end of the Eldon Street HSHAZ project, we are hosting a day of fun-filled activities on and around Eldon Street. You can enjoy:
- Eldon-themed family crafts in the Library at the Lightbox
- Street performers and entertainment
- Silent disco featuring the songs written by Simon Armitage and LYR - all inspired by Eldon Street
- Free cinema screening in the Parkway cinema featuring films about Eldon Street and followed by a screening of Calendar Girls
The celebration day is free and open to everyone. You don't need to book in advance, just turn up and join the fun.
