There are many convenient places to park across the town centre and borough.
You can park your car in one of the many car parks or on-street parking spaces available. Some car parks are free, while others charge a fee depending on the duration of your stay. You can pay by cash, card, or phone using the RingGo app.

There are also several motorbike parking facilities throughout the town, with a secure bar to attach a chain to.
Car parks with these facilities include The Upper Seam, Graham's Orchard, Sackville Street, St Mary's Place and the Alhambra Shopping Centre.
Motorbikes can also be parked for free in any bay in any council-owned car park. On-site tariff boards list terms and conditions outlining the rules for parking.

Most are in areas where many residents don’t have access to off-street parking and may want to charge their vehicles overnight. The chargers are also available to anyone visiting these areas during the day.

SEASON TICKETS FOR TOWN CENTRE PARKING
If you’re visiting Barnsley regularly, you can buy a season ticket which lets you park in any commuter zone car park. The cost for this ticket is £978 per year.
