The Living Dress by Cabasa CIC is a beautiful large-scale installation made of naturally grown and dyed textiles, plants and flowers displayed on a stunning 5-metre tall sculpture.

Inspired by Barnsley’s long history of linen making and hand looming, the dress has been created by local community groups from across the borough.

This stunning installation invites visitors to consider rich connections between our natural environment and the garments we wear, imagining new forms of sustainable fashion.
