Barnsley’s Big Weekend returns to the town centre on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 July with an exciting, packed line-up of entertainment.

Enjoy the return of the popular Brassed On! Festival and the What's Your Move family sports day.

There's something for everyone over the two days with lots of free activities taking place across Barnsley town centre.

Saturday 11 July
Start the weekend on Saturday with the return of popular Brassed On! brass music festival in The Glass Works Square, Library @ The Lightbox and The Seam.

Performances will start at 10.30am in the Lightbox and at 11am on the main stage until 4.30pm. 

Highlights include our headliners Grimethorpe Colliery Band and Brazen Brass, the UK's finest female brass & percussion players. View the full Brassed On! line-up.

Sunday 12 July
Shake up your Sunday with Barnsley’s most dynamic event, ‘What’s Your Move’ day. 

From 11am to 4pm, the Glass Works Square and The Seam will burst into life with sports, dance and so much more. View the full What's Your Move line-up.
