Head into the Library to sign up for this year’s Reading Challenge and get creative at our drop-in craft sessions, taking place 10am–12noon and 1.30pm–3pm. 

Listen to brilliant young brass and percussion bands performing live as part of the Brassed On music festival. 

Or if you need a space to have a moment away from the hustle and bustle, step into The Story Shell which will be outside the Library from 10am–4pm with musical colouring sheets and books.
