Barnsley Bright Nights returns for its eighth year in 2025 to light up the darker evenings with FREE art installations throughout the town centre.

Join us to explore a stunning light art trail across Barnsley town centre from 5pm until 8.30pm on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 November. 

Discover twelve interactive installations and live performances at venues including Alhambra Shopping Centre, Barnsley Civic, Barnsley College, Base71 Youth Zone, Cooper Gallery and more.

Don't miss Supernova, a constellation of giant illuminated stars in The Glass Works Square. These incredible sculptures by Studio Vertigo have previously only been seen all together in Sydney, Australia and are making their UK debut in Barnsley.
