Idyllically located, with a beautiful beer garden overlooking Barugh Green, The Crown & Anchor is one of Barnsley’s most quaint pubs and renowned for its wide choice of gin, British fare and local beers. A really special place to visit whatever the season. In Summer take your food into our garden and enjoy the best views of Barnsley whilst sipping on a cocktail; in the winter, get cosy with a hearty pie in the snug with friends. We pride ourselves on a locally sourced, seasonal, delicious menu, all hand cooked to order every time. Alongside our main menu we also serve award-winning pies which change regularly. You can find details of these on our specials board. The drinks menu includes cocktails, an extensive wine list, bottled beers from around the world and an ever-changing range of hand pull beers. We also have a gin menu which has over 60 gins, including our very own Sheffield Dry Gin. With a number of indoor and outdoor spaces available to hire, we can accommodate anything from 15–160 people for sit down dinners or big blowouts!
