My name’s Charlotte and I worked on a Teens Guide to Barnsley.

You can’t start the day without breakfast! Come enjoy a fresh drink and a snack to prepare you and your friends for a day of enjoyment.

I would recommend going to The Glass Works to shop or even browse, as it has something for everyone to enjoy. My favourite shops are River Island, New Look and Next for Summer outfits. It’s suitable for everyone, so go take a look!

Our next stop would be the Milk From The Hills. It’s an amazing place to get a fresh milkshake, and at the moment there’s a Creme egg special that sounds amazing! The grab and go machine in the Market is quick and easy to use, and is incredibly delicious.

Stop for lunch at the Market Kitchen. From Japanese to jacket potatoes, there’s lots of choice. I love the pizzas and the chicken to snack on before enjoying the rest of my day in Barnsley!

From IMAX to standard screens, Cineworld is the best place to sit back and relax while being fully immersed in the world on screen. Grab your popcorn and drink and get ready for the best adventures!

Dolly’s Desserts is a great way to end your day. If you like all treats like Ice creams, waffles, crepes and more, then this is the place for you! They even sell vegan options, so everyone can enjoy.

Before heading home, make sure to visit The Yorkshire Roses for a fab way to end a memorable day with your friends. When I visited, they were lit red and white for the England match! It’s close to the Bus Exchange so you can relax there before catching the bus home.

Don’t forget to spot the Pride of Yorkshire lions and lionesses around Barnsley. You will find this lion next to the Yorkshire Roses at the Seam. The theme of this lion is the Roar of the Wild. When you find it, take a picture with it, and tag: @prideofyorkshiretrail.
