Barnsley Libraries across the borough are celebrating all things spooky with some creative fun! From paper pumpkins to monster magnets, children can create their own Halloween masterpieces!

Gather round for creepy, tall tales and unleash your imagination with a spooky craft to take home. This family-friendly event is suitable for everyone aged 5 and up. Tickets are £3 per child.

• Barnsley Civic – Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, Friday 31 October

Get ready to be amazed, as Robert Louis Stevenson's classic "bogey tale" is brought chillingly to life in this award-winning one-man show. Consession and wheelchair user tickets are £15,50, adult tickets are £17.50.

• Falco Lounge – Film and TV quiz with a Halloween Twist, Tuesday 28 October

Test your terrifying telly and film knowledge at this special Halloween-themed quiz night. 

• Barnsley Civic - Sip + Sketch: 'Halloween Drawing' with Higgy, Thursday 30 October

In this playful session, you'll have a go at painting pumpkins and skulls on postcards. No prior experience needed. Fancy dress not discouraged! Tickets are £13.50.
