Come and join in our free sculpture and spray paint art workshop this half-term with the artists creating new artworks for Goldthorpe and the Dearne.

When: Thursday 20 February between 10am and 2pm

Where: Goldthorpe Pentecostal Community Church, Market Street, Goldthorpe

This is an ideal half-term activity for all ages and a great chance to get creative.

Sculptor Dan Jones is hosting a drop-in sculpture session.

At this fun, family friendly event, you’ll have a chance to tie, wrap, weave, strap, and balance objects to create large sculptures from recycled materials.

No booking is required for this activity – just turn up and join in!

Art collective STATIC are hosting fun spray paint art sessions.

Please note: This spray paint art workshop is for ages six and over. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult. Please wear clothes that you don’t mind getting messy. Face masks, gloves, goggles, aprons and all materials will be provided.

During the workshops we'll be also be asking for your views to help inspire the new public artworks in Goldthorpe and the Dearne.
